The Skills & Employability Summit returned LIVE to London!

The Skills & Employability Summit returned in-person after two years, with sessions from the Minister for Employment and the Minister for Industry!

With a severe shortage of skills across industries impacting the national economic recovery post COVID-19, the Skills & Employability Summit 2022 offered a leading platform for industries to discuss innovative ways to address the skills gap and establish key partnerships that enhance employability and skills that meet market needs.

Taking place at Etc Venues, St Pauls, Central London on Tuesday 5th July 2022, the Summit welcomed over 300 representatives from academic institutions, training providers, employers, local authorities and central government departments, providing a fantastic opportunity for cross-sector networking and thought-provoking discussion.

To open the Summit, we welcomed Lee Rowley MP, Minister for Industry, Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, who outlined the government's vision for advancing Britain's business with a focus on skills and employability. This was followed by a session from Mims Davies MP, Minister for Employment, Department for Work and Pensions, who explored how to transform access to the labour market and employment through skills.

It was great to welcome so many attendees back to our in-person summit, and there were some fantastic conversations taking place across the day between delegatesspeakersexhibitors and sponsors

Throughout the day, we hosted a variety of engaging sessions, from interactive panel discussions, dedicated 'spotlight' sessions focused on regional best practice and interviews with industry experts. We were delighted to have provided the opportunity for those working across the skills and employability landscape to connect, share ideas and stay up to date with the latest best practices.

The Skills & Employability Summit will return to Central London on 22nd March, to once again offer a leading platform for industries to address the significant skills gap and establish key partnerships that enhance employability and skills that meet market needs.
